Hi, I'm Andrew Raymond.
I build on the Salesforce platform — and the AI on top of it.
Certified Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, and AI Associate. I work where the CRM meets the cloud, the network, and increasingly the model — and I write here about what I'm learning along the way.
The short version
I'm a Salesforce platform developer based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Most days I'm somewhere between Apex and the admin console — building automations, untangling integrations, and shipping features that the business actually feels.
Before Salesforce I cut my teeth on web development, networks, and the kind of unglamorous IT plumbing that keeps small teams moving. That background still shows up in how I work: I like systems that are observable, simple where they can be, and honest about their tradeoffs. Lately I'm spending a lot of time with AI — what it can actually do inside a CRM, and where it still makes a mess.
Three things I'm usually doing
The work shifts week to week, but it tends to circle back to the same handful of disciplines.
Salesforce platform
Apex, Flow, LWC, and the admin layer. Building things that survive the next release notes.
AI on the CRM
Grounded prompts, agent workflows, and embeddings — applied to data that actually exists.
Web & infrastructure
Roots in web dev, networking, and IT — useful when an integration goes sideways at 2am.
Certifications
The badges I keep current — proof of the platform vocabulary.
